When we sleep, our body functions, just slower; more peaceful.
We all know it is better to sleep than to not. We begin to tire, get sluggish, irritable. We all know that sleep is an essential way to sustain life. No matter how hard we try to fight it sometimes, sleep always prevails.
Our minds, bodies, and spirits need sleep to get to gently nurture themselves.
Issues, burdens and troubles are worked out in our dreams. Our muscles relax, releasing tension. Other things relax and get energized: the immune system, metabolism, memory, our learning process, and other vital functions.
Tonight, I bless you with restorative and comfortable sound sleep.
Sweet dreams, good night.
