Oftentimes, illnesses open our eyes.
Big sweeps with fate force us to make some heavy decisions in both the physical and spiritual worlds.
Many of you are probably familiar with the school of thought that our illnesses or a dis-eases are manifestations of disharmony and fear.
And oftentimes these brushes with illness or even near-to-death illicit great changes in consciousness and vibration.
In shamanism, the journey of a shaman is often preempted by a close call with death. This can be a great lesson of cause and effect. How we treat ourselves and others will ultimately affect us as individuals. For a shaman, this goes way farther than mere karma. It involves you as shaman working hand-in-hand with karma and mending the scales and healing this time around. And if not this time, well perhaps the next.
These lessons of illness, teach us on a subtler level to think before we act, and think about those actions in a community mindset. Looking into the future and how one’s actions will impact it.
I hope that as you gaze at la luna bella over the next few weeks, as she slowly regains her light, that you will also regain your light and step up and out of any illness and dis-ease that may be trying to teach you a lesson.
Good night. Sweet dreams.
