Many a night, sitting alone and gazing up at the moon. Sipping some tea by the fire, I really am not alone.
There is a company one takes when embracing solitude.
You learn a different language, one that is more universal. You make friends with the birds, the trees, and with your home. Your pet companion becomes a deeper kindred, the fireplace or favourite sitting room becomes a haven.
There is great companionship in living a life of solitude because the truest thing is that you never are truly alone.
Good night, sweet dreams.
