Trust: the fiber that keeps connections together.
Trust means different things to different people.
For me, it is an equivalent to truth, maturity, protection, and humility. It can be earned and it can be broken. It is also synonymous with hope.
By respecting trust, we “resonate with inner meaning as we reflect on our place in the world and what we stand for.”
When you abuse trust, you don’t just abuse the other at the other end, you abuse yourself, your inner meaning.
Respect and abuse. Two of the opposites on the same coin of life. Two very different versions of what trust can be. It depends on the intent in the heart of the one behind the curtain. The heart is either clouded in ego and manipulation or shrouded within a collective and embraces vulnerability.
Trusting in yourself and others is “worthwhile, even if you don’t see the fruits of your labours for a very long time.” – Joanna.
